Ankur completed his Master of Physiotherapy in Orthopaedics in 2007 after earning his Bachelor of Physiotherapy in 2005, both in India. From 2008 to 2020, he worked as a private practitioner in Delhi, treating a wide range of clients including cricket players, golfers, and individuals with spinal injuries. Since 2021, Ankur has been practicing in British Columbia, Canada.
